Randall Associates was formed in 2002 by Keith Randall. Keith has nearly 45 years taxation experience, having first worked for the Inland Revenue (now H.M. Revenue & Customs) and then for two firms of Chartered Accountants (firstly in London and latterly in Slough). When setting up Randall Associates, Keith was all too aware that many people needed assistance with personal tax problems but the level of fees charged by larger firms was beyond their budget. A further regular complaint was that initial estimates of fees to be charged always seemed to be exceeded - for this reason, Keith vowed that Randall Associates will always quote a fixed fee and will only charge additional fees should unexpected prolonged additional correspondence occur (such as Revenue & Customs investigation). An additional complaint was that larger firms left the "smaller" client feeling like "a number, not a name" and they often felt neglected. Many clients have also expressed a feeling of being intimidated by the more formal atmosphere of a firm of Chartered Accountants and appreciate the more friendly and informal approach taken by Keith.
